Must have been around 9PM last night I decided to move FiredUpRadio.net over to the server that this site and SerendipityDeals.com are hosted on.  Normally changing nameservers takes about an hour or more…not last night…nope.  Took literally 2 minutes, which meant that I had to move the files faster than I thought so people wouldn’t notice that the site was down due to the move.

So, I get the files moved, then I backup the database that I had CLEARLY labeled FiredUpRadio in the database description.  I put the site completely up…and then I notice that I’m the only registered user and all the work I had done is gone.  WHAT???  45 minutes had now gone by…and I was confused as hell.  I then remembered that I had some issues when I had installed it on it’s original server….which meant that I had to do a reinstall with a new database.  Gah!  After searching through the files I found the right database and brought that in.  Great!  I have all the files now moved, the right database…it’s wonderful!

I install a new plugin called AutoGallery (one I’ve installed before to another site) and then suddenly the entire site went DOWN!  Internal Server Errror….. Martha Focker!

After spending about 20 minutes or so going through everything I could I finally figured out what was wrong….talk about a friggen’ nightmare.  Well…it’s back up and running….I’m keeping my fingers crossed because that was my smallest site to move….I have three more to move….the biggest one being last so I know what to expect…
